We offer a wide range of services, which include software application and web development, data warehousing, network design and configuration, internet provision, corporate training, multimedia solutions, and testing services.

Software Development

Dedicated team of Software House maintains a high level of professionalism that enabled Software House over the past 7 years to provide state-of-the-art solutions to well renowned organizations within Pakistan as well as abroad.

A Center of Excellence specialized in providing Information Technology (IT) Solutions of products and services, by utilizing the best available resources , with special emphasis on delivering timely, within budget and acceptable quality.

Computing and Network Services

Computing and Network Services is defined as all the organizational units including Administrative Computing (AC), Help Desk / Support Services (CHD), Systems & Operations (SO), Corporate Customer Services and Training (CST) and the Senior Administrative unit.

Computing & Network Services provide the enabling computational technology, personnel of all of the operating units of the University and supports the computing and networking systems and services that are necessary for their efficient operations.

Internet Services

COMSATS Community ISP started in October 2001 to provide Internet facility to students and faculty of campus, initially we started from 64kbps shared link and up-graded Internet infrastructure as per requirements. We added dialup, Remote Storage, E-mail, FTP, Domain registration, & Web Hosting services for users.

CIS is continuously updating its infrastructure to meet growing requirements of high bandwidth and performance. ISP has now 8Mbps 2way shared Link and a 3Mbps downlink. ISP is providing Web, E-Mail, Web Hosting, FTP and many other network services plus network consultancy to its Corporate LAN & dialup clients.

Research and Development- R & D

Parallel and Distributed Computing Research Lab established in COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad, is dedicated group of professionals having a vision and desire to explore and enhance the state of the art technologies in the area of Parallel and Distributed computing. The group comprises of the dedicated goal oriented research students who are working under supervision of Mr. Haroon Rasheed, Director CIIT (ATD). The Group has initiated different research projects in the area of Parallel & Distributed Computing and has already achieved some milestones in this area of research.

Corporate Trainings

CITC provides the comprehensive user training in the industry catering to all levels, including specialized IT training for administrators and developers. It offers its clients a complete IT training program with the motive of familiarizing them with the entire life cycle of our products and solutions

Repair and Maintenance

Repair and Maintenance section provides service for IT, especially in the areas of systems trouble, network connectivity, and the use of supported desktop applications (Essential Software). The Repair and Maintenance teams provides support to faculty, staff, and students.
